Introduction

Ever wished to explore Mumbai but never got the opportunity? Think you know the hidden wonderful places in Mumbai? Here is your chance to prove your skills! Experience the thrill and excitement of exploring the city and performing different challenging tasks. Participate in the best and the biggest treasure hunt event in the city, 'THE AMAZING RACE', held at ICT! 

Format

Scavenger Hunt (only for ICTians-both UG and PG)

1. Will be held before Vortex.

2. Area- Matunga with starting and ending points in ICT.

3. 8-10 Clues for this round.

4. First two teams completing the hunt will get direct entry to the final round of The Amazing

 Race and the next two teams will directly go to Round 2.

Round 1 (eliminations):

1. Will be held during Vortex (on two days, so that we can have more participation)

2. Area- Matunga and Dadar with starting and ending points in ICT.

3. 8-10 clues for this round.

4. First 14 teams (appropriate teams from each day) completing the round will be selected for the

next round.

Round 2:

1. Total 14 teams from the eliminations round enter this round.

2. Area- Matunga (E & W), Dadar(E & W), Sion, Wadala, Mahim, Prabhadevi with starting and

ending points in ICT.

3. 8-10 clues for this round with different tasks to be performed by each team at the respective

check points.

4. First 6 teams completing the round, reach the finals of The Amazing Race.

Finals:

1. Total 8 teams (2 teams from the Scavenger Hunt + 6 teams from the round 2 eliminations)

2. Area- Entire Mumbai.

3. 8-10 Clues for this round with different tasks to be performed by each team at the respective

check points.

Rules

1. Each team of 3 members only.
2. Open for UG and PG.
3. Scavenger Hunt and Round 1 (eliminations)-
a)Use of mobile phones and public transport allowed (money would not be provided).
b)Use of private transport not allowed. If caught, the team would be disqualified.

Round 2:
1.Use of mobile phones allowed.
2.Use of public transport allowed (money would not be provided).
3.Use of private transport not allowed. If caught, the team would be disqualified.
4.Tasks (at the respective check points) should be accomplished by the team members , or else, the team would be disqualified.

Finals:
1.Use of mobile phones not allowed.
2.Use of public transport allowed (fixed amount of money would be provided at different check points).
3.Tasks (at the respective check points) should be accomplished by the team members , or else, the team would be disqualified.
4.Winners of the race would be decided on the basis of the number of clues completed by the teams in the given duration.
