Quantity sufficient is a pharmaceutical dosage form designing event which tests the theoretical as well as practical acquaintance for formulating a dosage form concerning the drug being used. This event is designed to test the expertise of translating your conceptual understanding of Pharmaceutics, Dispensing pharmacy, GMP and GK of the subject into its practical application.


Number of rounds - 3


The 1st round is a basic quiz (MCQ) regarding the subject. It is based upon pharmaceutics, dispensing pharmacy, GMP, GK and current affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.

Second round for the first and second years will be a completely application based round wherein the teams will need to use their knowledge on the subject to answer the question without the aid of any library facilities.
Second round for the 3rd, 4th years and the PGs is a theoretical test in which a problem will be given which is to be solved within a given period of time. (Participants can avail the library facility for the same.)

Now this is a googly! The format of the last round is not revealed. It is also a formulation round wherein the teams have to prepare the product. (Viva may be conducted for the 2nd and/or the 3rd round)


1. All material required will be provided on the spot.
2. No material should be bought from outside.
3. Each team comprises of 2 members only.
4. Marks will be deducted if Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is not followed.
